Rashmika Mandanna took to her social media to announce the wrap of her upcoming film shoot titled ‘Chhava’ She will be acting alongwith Vicky Kaushal in the film.
Vicky Kaushal will play the role of Maratha warrior Chhatrapathi Sambhaji Maharaj and Rashmika Mandanna will play the role of his wife Yesubai. The film will be directed by Laxman Utekar and will be the production of Dinesh Vijan, Maddock FIlms.
She thanked director Laxman Utekar and Vicky Kaushal for being excellent collaborators for her on the film. She wrote for Laxman Utekar, that she just couldn’t imagine, how could a man working on such a big set with 1500 people working have such a calm composure. She thanked the director for seeing her her as Yesubai character when she or no one in the world could have ever imagined her in the character. She thanked the director for bring out the best in her performance and she cant wait for the world to see her performance in the film.
Talking to Vicky Kaushal, she said, she had a great time sharing screen with the actor. It was pleasure working with him on the film. She called actor Vicky warm and kind on the set, except for the last day when Vicky was taking her case. She said jokingly. She also said to Vicky that her Mom has also conveyed her regards to him.
Vicky has previously worked with Laxman Utekar the director for Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. Rashmika has not collaborated with Laxman so far. Rashmika will be seen on projects like Pushpa: The Rule and The Girlfriend which are releasing soon.
