Bellamkonda Sreenivas new movie Chatrapathi is out in cinemas today. He spoke to Filmifever channel recently. He spoke about his film, saying that this film is surely going to work well in the box office, he is confident of it. He says, he and his father have always done films that have done 100 crore business, he now considers 100 crore as minimum requirement for his film, he expects more, he says because according to him, the film has everything to be a blockbuster.
He says the film has romance, action, entertainment, emotions and everything. He is not worried about his film called a ‘remake’. He says, the original film Chatrapthi starring Prabhas was released long ago. 18 years have passed. Many of the people now might be not even aware of the film, he believes.
This film story is nice according to him. If any film story is nice, people will appreciate it. There is nothing called remake or original film, people will only react to the film whether it is ‘good film’ or no. He is really affirmative that people will surely like his film.
Being a south star, getting entry into Hindi was a blessing for him. People have been appreciating his movies dubbed in Hindi. And he says there were producers in line betting for the satellite rights of his films. He says Jayantilal Gada approached him for the film 3 years back when he was doing his acting course at Bary John institute, Andheri.
Jayatilal Gada’s Pen Studios office was also nearby to his acting class. He says it was few buildings away. He felt he was able to achieve something after being approached by Mr. Gada. He says, he didn’t knew that he was producer of Gangubai Kathiawadi, Attack, RRR then because these films came later on.
He only knew that he was one of the big names from Hindi industry. He said yes to Mr. Gada and Mr. Gada was also all out to launch him in Hindi, he says.
Sreenivas Bellamkonda acted in the film with Hindi actress Nushratt Bharuccha, he says she is a really good actor. He liked her performance in Sony Ke TItu Ki Sweety.Sreenivas Bellamkonda promises that this film Chatrapathi is really going to be liked by the audience beacause he feels this film is surely going to give audience a different kind of energy after watching it, just like they expereince after watching some really good films.
