Movie critic and film business analyst Taran Adarsh spoke exclusively with FIlmifever. He was talking about the recent talked about film in town Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkaar. He was short of words to express his praise for the film. But he also spoke about the lead actor of the film, Ranbir Kapoor.
Taran Adarsh praised Ranbir Kapoor for his acting skills, saying people can see that honesty in his work right from Sawariya to TJMM. Very few actors are there who can speak with their eyes, and Ranbir Kapoor is one of them, says Taran Adarsh. You don’t give him a dialgue, yet Ranbir Kapoor will express himself through his eyes.
While watching the film TJMM, Taran Adarsh says, he didn’t feel like he was watching Ranbir Kapoor on screen, but he was feeling like he was watching some character play on screen. That is the uniqueness and the different point about his work, Taran Adarsh says which very few actors are able to accomplish. Not all actors can gel into the character they play so well as Ranbir Kapoor, he says. Taran Adarsh calls, Ranbir Kapoor a ‘top-notch actor’, best actor of the generation.
He says that people tell that the era of superstars is gone with the 90′ superstars like Aamir Khan, Shah RUkh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Hrithik Roshan. Taran Adarsh says that after them, a new phase will come where people will place Ranbir Kapoor as their next big Superstar. Ranveer Singh will also follow Ranbir SIngh as the next Superstar list.
