Rishab Shetty starrer Kantara film is now qualified for Oscar nominations in two categories. One is for the Best Actor and other is for the Best Picture. Means now the Oscar members can cast their vote for Kantara and push it to the main nominations because Kantara film is now eligible in the criteria for Oscar nominations, two categories Best Actor and Best Picture.
The film has been a breaking success ever since it entered the box office. It has been dubbed in many languages in India and audiences are also very much in favour that the film has to be pushed to the Oscars nominations and also for the award. Fans have been creating campaigns on social media that the film should make it to the Oscars. Rishab Shetty directed and acted Kantara also stars Sapthami Gowda in the lead role. Film is a story of a land acquistion fight and how that problem gets solved. FIlm was originally released in Kannada.
