Shahid Kapoor is going to make hs OTT debut with Amazon Prime Video upcoming web series project ‘Farzi’ that stars also actor Vijay Sethupathi. Kay Kay Menon, Regina Cassandra, Zakir Hussain, Bhuvan Arora and Amol Palekar, Kubra Sait are also part of the show.
Teaser of this project is made out today by Shahid Kapoor on social media. In the teaser we can see Shahid Kapoor painitng a canvas calling it his new phase in life – a life of an artist. A question keeps troubling his mind whether people will appreciate this new thing, journey of his? Then his mind gives him an answer saying he need not worry about it. It is that he will remain an artist even if the audience doesnt not appreciate him. Because artist will always be an artist (#ArtistTohArtisthotaHai)
This series is going to be a crime drama series, to-be directed by Raj & Dk, director of The Family Man series on Amaazon Prime Video. This series Farzi is expected to release in 2023 itself, mostly within the first quarter of this year. Official confirmation is awaited.
