Anushka Sharma has wrapped up the shooitng of Chakda Xpress in which will be playing the life of women cricketer Jhulan Goswani. The film shooting took place over a 65 days time across different cities in 7 schedules.
Yesterday was the last day of the shooting of the film. Celebrating the moment, Jhulan Goswani, director Prosit Roy and Anushka Sharma cut a special cake that had a Jhulan Goswami 25 number jersery, stump, ball and also a clapboard that read ‘That’s a wrap’ also mentioning he 65 days of the shoot, 7 schedules and 6 number of cities in which they were shooting. Anushka Sharma starrer Chakda Xpress happens to be produced by his brother Karnesh Sharma under the banner of Clean Slate Filmz.
Film is expected to be released next year on Netflix. FIlm will show the life of former Indian skipper women’s cricket Jhulan Goswami, her journey and her struggle to fulfill her dream of playing for India. Anushka Sharma in the pictures above, playing Jhulan’s role is seen wearing Indian jersery. Photos also show Jhulan Goswami holding a clapboard that reads ‘its a wrap’.
