Mili is a remake movie of a Malalyalam movie Helen also Tamil movie Anbirkiniyal. The movie is a story of a girl name Mili who works in a food shop as part time employee. She one day gets stuck inside the fridge deep freezer of that hotel room by accident. She doent have phone nor her voice reaches outside the fridge. Will she survive inside the fridge or no you will get to know watching the movie.
This movie is a nice movie when it comes to Janhvi Kapoor acting and so are the other actors. But the movie is a little slow paced. FIrst half is full build up that almost takes an hour time which makes us little bore. Second half is the survival drama which is little interesting but could have been more fast.
This movie is a suspense thriller film. with a small very small yet important cameo of Jackie Shroof which is good. Film music is given by AR Rahman. Background music of the film didnt please me muc. Didn’t match the situations attached in this movie. That AR Rahman magic in this music seemed missing.
I had a decent expereince watching this movie. This movie is one time watch. Sad part is this film is a remake film not an original concept. Story could have been explored more better way with this unique concept of the film. Film had only a few one or two out of the edge performances we go to see. This film didnt impress me much. Anyway I didnt expect anything from this movie. I rate this movie only 2.5 stars out of 5.
