Loki Season 2 shoot is expected to be finished. That’s what photos from the wrap party by the crew of the team insist. They were currently shooting in London. But it is not yet confirmed officially that the shoot of Loki 2 is really completed or is it that the shoot of London schedule is complete or are they going to shift to another location for other schedule of the shoot.
Loki Season 2 shooting started in June and now it is four months since the shoot was on. Loki Season 2 was scheduled for a release next year on Disney+ streaming platform sometime in Summer. But now if the shoot is done of Season 2, there are possibilities that the release date of the Season 2 could be preponed.
Loki Season 1 came out in June 2021. It was well received by the audience as well as critics. Tom Hiddleston, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong, Owen Wilson, Richard E. Grant, and Jonathan Majors starred in the series. The Season 1 gained popularity among Marvel fans for introducing the Marvel character Kang the destroyer into the Marvel Cinematic Universe storyline. That character was portrayed by Jonathan Majors. It is still not confirmed whether Jonathan Majors charcter Kang will be seen in Season 2.
But there are strong indications that he might be seen in Season 2. Jonathan Majors was earlier seen as He Who Remains in closing part of Loki Season 1. There he was a Kang variant. In Season 2, Kang the Conquerer is expected to be seen because the season is coming out shortly after Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania— the movie where Kang is the villain. Official confirmation is yet to be awaited.
Season 2 is expected to follow the adventues of Loki getting caught up in an ordeal involving a multiverse police force name TIme Variance authority. This series is based on the characters from the Marvel comics that takes off after Loki steals the Tesseract during the Avengers: Endgame time. The Loki variant seen in the series is different from the Loki who gets killed by Thanos in Avengers Endgame.
