Actor Karthi recently met Kantara actor Rishab Shetty in Chennai where he is currently busy with his upcoming film Sardar promotions. Karthi congratulated the actor-director-writer of Kantara, Rishab Shetty for his film success. They also talked with each other about the film. Rishab Shetty told Karthi that through this film, he wanted to highlight the castiesm problem in society and wanted to give the message of equality.
Rishab Shetty’s Kantara yesterday released in Hindi. Today it got released in Telugu and Tamil. Malayalam version of the film is coming to cinemas on the 20th of October. Original Kantara Kannada version came to cinemas on the September 30th and was well liked by the audience. The film was a major sucesss in box office. That is when the demand grew for the film to be released in other languages and the filmmakers started releasing it in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. Malayalam on its way. Making it a pan India film.
Actor Karthi was amused by the making of the film and he gave his words of appreciation to Rishab Shetty for Kantara. Karthi also said to Rishab Shetty that it was his brother-in-law who first liked the film and recommended it to him. He also liked the film and he had only released the Tamil Trailer of Kantara on his Twitter handle recently.
