Doctor G movie is a story of a doctor student who has interest in orthopedics but becomes a gynaecologist. He doesn’t like the professon of being a gynaecologist doctor because he belives he is a wrong profession because it is female dominated job. Slowly he gets used to the profession and becomes a pro gynaecologist in the movie. Excellent performance by Ayushmann Khurrana. His acting performace is impressive, be it his dialogue delivery, expressions, facial expressions, body language and a lot more.Rakul Preet Singh has a very less role in the film and she does an okay perfomance.
Sheeba Chaddha plays the role of that doctors mother in the film and her comedy and performance is really interesting. Shefali Shah as a senior doctor taking care of the junior doctors. Her strict performace and acting shines in the film. Story, screenplay, narration and direction of this film is really good. Story has a mix of entertaining moments as well as a few emotional moments. Both the extremes comedy and emotion have been very well portayed through this film. Also a topic of a male gynaecologist is new to Indian cinema. Good attempt by the makers for briniging this unique concept to the story and also kudos to the makers for presenting this sensitive topic with respect and dignity, yet in a fun way, engaging way where the audience are involved.
Music of this film is weak point in the film. Songs aren’t much popular. The romance element song in the film seems to be forcefully added, that’s what it looks like. BGM of this movie is good, really matches the comedy scenes in the film and even elevates the fun while watching the comedy. Story cinematography is decent of this film. Film editing is crisp and sharp. Dialogues of this film are really well written. Both the comedy dialogues as eel as the emotional dialogues. Comedy dialogues will bring a smile on your face and emotional dialogues will really find away to touch your heart. This movie’s emotions are not like a melodrama. You won’t feel like crying. But you will also emotionally connect with it. All the actors of this film have done a really goodd job. Performance wise this film is top notch and also the comedy and entertainment. I really loved watching this film. This film really desrves and is worth a recommendation. I rate this movie 3.5 stars out of 5.
