The Ghost Movie review: Too much action, emotional connect missing

Nagarjuna Akkineni and Sonal Chauhan starrer new movie in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi The Ghost is directed by Praveen Sattaru. Story is of an interpol officer played by Nagarjuna Akkineni. He is fighting the goondas in the film. What is the story behind? You will get to know watching the film.

There are too many action scenes in the film one after the other. Nagarjuna Akkineni has performed his role really well but he didnt have too much to deliver in this film. Sonal Chauhan performance was okay. Brother sister relationship also brought in this film. Story has a lot of action but the action scenes elevation is missing. We cannot find any goosebump moment while watching the film.

Thriller elements could have been added more in the film but yet the film has only a few thrill moments. So it becomes an average film. Story is also routine, nothing new. Screenplay has nothing new to deliver. Action scenes are nicely choreographed in this film.

Music is good in this film. Background score is nice. Emotional connect is missing in the film. Story first half is boring. Second half is also not intersting enough. This film is worthy to be watched only because of Nagarjuna Akkineni and his acting and also the action sequences in the film. Other wise the film is a below average film.

Movie has a duration of 2 hour 20 minutes. I didn’t have a great time watching this film. Villain was also not strong in this film. We could not conncect well with the characters. There wasn’t either a major twist and turn in the story. I rate this movie 2.5 stars out of 5. VFX wise, the film is weak but production wise, the film looks really good. Nagarjuna Akkineni also has a stylish look in the film.
