Nandamuri Kalyan Ram starrer Bimbisara is a Telugu action drama fantasy film. Film sees tranformation in the character of Bimbisara, first half and scond half. In the first half we see Bimbisara as a ruthless person king of his time, second half we see Bimbisara coming out of his time to present time.
FIrst half BImbisara character were really good to watch. The dangerous, fearful perfomance of Bimbisara was really worth an applause, second half character of Bimbisara wasn’t much convincing. First half of the movie seemed like a good period drama film. Second half of the film seemed like a family entertainer film.
Songs were nice in the movie. Music was best part of the film. Background music was also good, capable enough to elevate the action sequences as well as emotional scenes in the film.
Action sequences were few in the movie, they werent much impactful. Visuals of the movie could have been better. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram has really shined well in the character of Bimbisara king in first half, specially with regards to his voice modulation, dialogue delivery and mannerisms.
Villain character in the movie wasn’t much convincing. Story of the film was nice, engaging. Something new we got to see in the film. Overall, I would say Bimbisara is a decent movie to watch. I’d call this a one time watch. I rate this movie 2.5 stars out of 5.
