Rama Rao on Duty movie review: Boring Investigative thriller film fails to impress the audience.

Rama Rao on Duty is a Telugu action film. It is an investigative thriller film in which Ravi Teja plays role of an IAS officer, deputy collector in the film.

Rama Rao on Duty is a below average film with hardly any impressive story, emotional connect or logical action. Action scenes in this film are also not properly designed. You can see bad people in the film flying in the air and bouncing on surface like a football after getting hit by Ravi Teja character. Songs are also unnecessarily, forcefully added in this serious film.

Thrill was not there in this movie nor was there suspense. Investigation story shown in the film is also not attractive to watch. Theme of the story is nice but the way the film has been presented, that presentation seems outdated.

Cinematography is not that good in this movie. Anywhere they are focusing in the film, sometimes on Ravi Tejas belt, sometimes on Ravi Tejas hand. That was not looking nice in the film.

Two actresss are there in the film. That’s why two songs they’ve added. Even in the item song in this film was not much impressive. Songs of this film weren’t much good based on the lyrics and music. There are no any hit songs in this movie. Background music of this film is nice in some scenes, average in some scenes. But the direction of this film is not that good, that’s why BGM fails to elevate the action scenes shown in the film.

Senior actor Venu performance is also not much impressive. His performance seems like he is overactive in this film. Too much of over expressions and over dialogue  delivery was not required of him in the film.

Film Climax scene was okay. But the picture was so boring that it was really tasking for us to watch till the climax. Investigation story was also ordinary in the film, nothing extraordinary. Overall, a below average film I dont recommend you to watch. You will watch only if you are a Ravi Teja fan. I am not happy with the performance of the film. I expected more from the film. Ravi Tejas performance is also unimpressive. I rate this film 1.5 stars out of 5.
