Good Luck Jerry film trailer released today and we got to see quite an impressive performance by Janhvi Kapoor. She plays a Bihari girl in the picture who sells momos for a living and also to support her moms treatment who is suffering from lung cancer. She also falls into the business of selling drugs to stealing drugs from kingpin.
Janhvi Kapoor plays the role of Jerry in the film and Deepak Dobriyal plays the role of Shekhar in the film, Jerry’s admirer. Sushant Singh plays role of drug dealer in the film. The story seems quite impressive in the trailer and Janhvi Kapoors performance seems interesting.
Trailer stars with a disclaimer saying, ‘Nasha chahe Jaisa ho, hota yeh bekaar, sharir todta, bimaari laata, kar deta lachaar (Drugs are injurious to health, it breaks down the body and makes a person helpless). Sick mothers role, we saw in the trailer is played by Mita Vashist. Siddharth Sengupta has directed this picture. Picture is produced by Aanand L Rai, Subaskaran Allirajah and Mahaveer Jain.
Good Luck Jerry is the Hindi remake of 2018 Tamil film Kolamaavu Kokila that also starred actress Nayanthara. The picture is slated to release on Disney+Hotstar on July 29. The project also stars actors Neeraj Sood, Sahil Mehta and Saurabh Sachdeva.
