Khuda Haafiz Part 2 Review: First half emotional, second half revenge story, long movie

Khuda Haafiz Part 2 story is a continuation of Part 1. Sameer and Nargis played by Vidyut Jammwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi adopt a child after all the trauma they go through in Part 1. The child gets kidnapped in the movie. Who kidnapped and why she was kidnapped you will get to know in the movie. Will Sameer be able to save the child, you will get to know in the movie.

First half of the picture is an emotional part, that will keep you engaged. Second half of the picture is a revenge story that is not much interesting. Martial artist Vidyut Jammwal will not be seen in this picture. But you will see a normal ‘aam insaan’ in Vidyut Jammwal throughout the movie. Vidyut Jammwal as a father and as a husband fighting his everyday battles is what you get to see in this picture. The picture also shows the corrupt system who do not look into the problems of a common man, realistically. Vidyut Jammwals role as a father and husband is good in the movie.

Shivaleeka Oberoi also has given good performance. Her role is that of a woman trying to get out of trauma, gets hit with another trauma while recovering. Sheeba Chaddha’s fiery role as Thakur is good in the picture. This picture is based on the sensitive topic of rape, maturely portrayed in the film. Second half of the film has some scenes that are unnecessarily added and that makes the film stretched and extended for no reason.

Songs are very good in this picture. Story is also good. Only, film was a little long 2 hr 24 minutes duration. Khuda Hafiz 2 is good movie like Khuda Haafiz Part 1. There are few brutal scenes of blood and attack you must bear of. Emotional film it is. It will make you cry in one or two scenes in first half. I enjoyed watching the film. Would rate this movie 3 stars out of 5.
